The PA Research Foundation (the Foundation) is pleased to announce two (2) funding opportunities, made possible by a generous gift to the Foundation for the PA Hospital (PAH) Emergency Medicine Department from an anonymous donor. These funding programs are:
- Rethinking Emergency Medicine Research Program
- PA Emergency Medicine Small Grant Program

Rethinking Emergency Medicine Research Program
The Rethinking Emergency Medicine Research Program (REMR) has been established to provide an opportunity for any SE Queensland university student to collaborate with staff from the PAH Emergency Medicine Department to effect change for patients and/or staff.
The project must be related to disciplines outside of the medicine, nursing and allied health but with an outcome directly applicable to the emergency department facilities, staff and patients.

PA Emergency Medicine Small Grant Program
The PA Emergency Medicine Small Grant Program (EMSG) is for any project that develops new methods, technology, techniques, systems and/or applications, provided the project has the potential to result in new knowledge of significant impact that will ultimately improve the delivery of better healthcare to patients within the emergency department.
